Disclaimer:
LotJot.com provides stated preview times for each Auction Item. Buyers are responsible for inspection or preview prior to purchase. No returns will be honored. All goods are sold as is, where is, without express or implied warranties and without recourse against LotJot.com or the consignor. There is no guarantee, warranty or representation, expressed or implied, as to quality, kind, character, quantity, weight, size, description or fitness for any use or purpose of any sale goods. The folks at LotJot do their best to be as accurate with the descriptions and provide the highest quality photos. On occasion, descriptions may contain errors or omissions in their item descriptions. LotJot is not responsible for inaccurate item descriptions. Preview of items are always provided by stated times for each auction. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to inspect and preview the items prior to purchase if desired. Statements of condition by LotJot does not represent, guarantee or otherwise assure the Buyer any functionality, quality or workmanship of any item.

LotJot.com provides Auction and Liquidation services as an independent contractor for the Owner/Seller or Trustee only and is not responsible for statements made by other parties. Bidders are responsible for the security of their purchases immediately after the award is made. A 15% Buyer's Premium will be assessed to all transactions, so if your total purchase is $100, then the buyer's premium that will be added is equal to $15, for a total amount of $115.00.

Removal:
The buyer is responsible for all logistics, transportation, loading and associated costs. Winning Bidders are responsible exclusively for removal of items. All removal dates are posted on the front page of each auction, unless otherwise noted on the specific item description. Due to specific time constraints and costs, pick-up and preview times are strictly followed. Some items require will require a different removal date or location.  Any specific changes to the posted removal date or location will be stated in the particular item description.

LotJot.com will provide delivery for a fee if requested within 24 hours of close of auction. Any request for Delivery must be made either before the auction has concluded or within one hour after the auction is closed.

Bidder’s failure to inspect goods will not constitute grounds for any claim for damages, adjustment, cancellation of purchase or any other remedy. Neither the auctioneers nor the sellers give any type of guarantee or warranty, implied or otherwise. All items are being sold unwarranted in an "as is" and "where is" condition. Buyer needs to contact auctioneer to schedule removal time and date. Items must be picked up and removed in accordance with the terms of each auction. Removal shall be at the expense, liability and risk of the Buyer. The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless both consignor and LotJot.com against any damage caused by acts of the buyer and/or his agents. LotJot.com is not responsible for goods not removed within the time specified, and shall have the option of removing and storing any goods not removed at the expense and risk of the buyer. Any item not retrieved during the specified pick-up time for each auction will be forfeited and payment will not be refunded.

Vehicle or property title paperwork will be provided to successful bidder upon close of the auction, unless otherwise notated. Purchasers are responsible for all provided paperwork, a fee will be charged for replacement documentation. Bidders on vehicles, machinery, airplanes, boats and recreational vehicles are responsible for compliance with the emission regulations for their intended area.

LotJot.com reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bids can be rejected for any reason, especially those containing inaccurate, incomplete or unverifiable information, or information which is deemed to have been given in bad faith. LotJot.com monitors bids to ensure compliance with our terms and conditions. All bids are subject to investigation and cancellation at any time. If a bid is removed, the bidder with the next highest bid, who is in compliance with the online terms and conditions, will become the current high bid.

Payment Terms:
You must have an available balance on your registered credit card to make the online purchase. For most auctions, each bidder will be charged $1.00 at time of authorization for purposes of verification. Once the auction is over, each bidder will be refunded the $1.00 either directly or by deduction of total bid. This is done exclusively by the credit card processor. LotJot is unable to refund the $1.00 authorization fee prior to the conclusion of the auction.  Once the auction has ended, the card you have on file will be charged automatically for the entire purchase amount (including the buyer’s premium) unless alternative payment arrangements are made. For final invoices over $3,000.00, bidders may be contacted for alternative payment verification and form.

Bidders acknowledge their bid is an offer to purchase. A winning bid is the acceptance of the offer and thus the bidder is contractually bound to purchase the item. Your registration acknowledges this understanding and the obligation to meet the payment and pick-up terms of each auction. In default of payment of full purchase price within the time specified, LotJot.com may retain all monies received as liquidated damages in addition to all other remedies allowed by law. No claims will be allowed. Goods not paid for or removed within the time specified may be resold at public or private sale without further notice and any deficiency, together with all expenses and charges of resale, will be charged to the defaulting purchaser.

Privacy Policy:
LotJot.com is committed to protecting consumer privacy online. We believe that greater protection of personal privacy on the web will not only protect consumers, but also increase consumer confidence and ultimately their participation in online activities. At LotJot.com we intend to give you as much control as possible over your personal information. Please adjust your email settings as needed to allow communications and correspondance, including weekly newsletter and event flyers.

The purpose of our policy is to inform you about the types of information we gather about you when you visit our site, how we may use that information, whether we disclose it to anyone, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to correct, the information.

Our site may contain links to other web sites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of any of our business partners, advertisers, sponsors or other sites to which we provide links from our site. You should check the applicable privacy policy of the web site sponsor when linking to other web sites.

I. Information Which We Collect

All information provided at the time of Registration is used specifically for bidding and correspondence of Auction related information. If you are a successful bidder then your credit card will be billed instantly upon completion of each auction. No further charges will be billed without your consent. Delivery and/ or Shipping charges, if requested, will appear as a separate charge.

Like many other commercial sites, our site may utilize a standard technology called a "cookie" to collect information about how our site is used. Cookies were designed to help a web site recognize a user's browser as a previous visitor and thus save and remember any preferences that may have been set while the user was browsing the site. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive, pass on a computer virus, or capture your e-mail address. Our web sites may use cookies to enhance your visit. Cookies can securely store a user's password, personalize home pages, identify which parts of a site have been visited or keep track of selections, such as those selected in a "shopping cart." Our cookies may collect your domain name and track your selections through our web pages. We only use "cookies" to gather the information indicated in this policy and do not use cookies to gather personal identifying information about you without your consent.

II. Use of User Information

We may perform statistical analyses of aggregate user behavior, i.e Google Analytics. This allows us to measure relative consumer interest in the various areas of our web sites for product development purposes. Any information we collect is used for its own internal purposes to improve the content of the web sites, to enhance users' experiences when visiting our site, to customize the content and/or layout of our pages, and to provide the services required by an individual user. We do not use personal identifying information for any reason that is not disclosed either in this Policy or at the time the information is requested. We utilize your email to send Auction updates and news specifically related to LotJot.com.

III. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not share personal identifying information with any third party without your permission. We disclose only in aggregate form our statistical analyses or demographics of users to third parties, such as advertisers or other business partners.

These privacy policies are effective as of December 15, 2017. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, and will post any changes to this policy as soon as they go into effect.

IV. Opting-out

At any time while assessing our site(s), any user while online may "opt-out" of further e-mail contact from us (while still allowing access to our site). For further information about opting-out, contact us at the e-mail address, postal address or telephone number stated above.

V. Use of Materials

The right to download and store or output the materials in our site is granted for the user's personal use only, and materials may not be reproduced in any edited form. Any other reproduction, transmission, performance, display or editing of these materials by any means mechanical or electronic without the express written permission of us is strictly prohibited.
